Open family workshop in the National Gallery in Oslo this Sunday

In relation to the ongoing exhibition The Magic North. Finnish and Norwegian art around 1900 at the National Museum in Oslo, Eyes as Big as Plates has been invited to hold a family workshop in the National Gallery studio, Sunday March 8th. Inspired by the working process behind Karoline´s and Riitta´s collaboration, workshop participants will make individual sculptural costumes together, either for themselves or for somebody that means something special. While Riitta is wrapping up her residency in Omaha, Karoline will be welcoming young and old to join and take their pick from a pile of plants and vegetables – what shall it be…broccoli shoulder pads, rhubarb antennas or a headpiece of kale?

Sunday March 8th from 1pm – 3 pm. The National Gallery studio, Universitetsgata 13, Oslo. Free entry for all. Welcome!
