On March 31st Recess celebrated six years of realizing projects with artists with the benefit exhibition Beg, Borrow or Steal at Pioneer Works in Redhook, NYC. This year the benefit functioned as a game in which every guest walked away with a unique work of art. These works were exhibited during the event, and guests were assigned a piece at random. But there was a catch; guests had the ability to “Beg, Borrow or Steal” in order to safeguard or swap their piece.
